Can anyone simplify this for me?

Tensions between service user and the organisation we have already dicussed the service users needs, and tensions that can arise betwwen these snd the organisation. it must be remembered that all service users have the right to: - confidentiality - choice - not to be discriminated against - practise their culteral and religious beleifs - make a complaint - have access to their health records - equal and fair treatment - protection - safety and security - be given clear accurate information organisations must comply with these rights. to do so, they will have policies and guidelines to provide a safe and secure environment for all who use their facilities. policies for individual settings could be those that are specific to that setting or they could originate from a parent organisation. for example, the nhs has policies which settings such as hospitals, go practices, health centers & clinics use a basis of their own policies.
Answer
I think what they are asking is for you to discuss some of the policies and procedures, and legislation regarding service users rights, i.e.data protection, human rights act, disability discrimination act, equal opportunities, etcfor example, if a service user is of sound mind, and they refuse treatment, providing they unerstand the consequences of refusing treatment, i.e. they may die if they refuse, it is still their right to refuse, so then if they become confused as care givers, we cannot then go and give them the treatment they refused previously.hope this is of some help, i gather you are doing your nvq good luck
