Thanks to those who have answered already, but all general insurers have cancellation limits between £2500 and £6000 per ticket. our tickets are more than double that value each. i need vacation travel insurance with cancellation/curtailment to value of ticket or alternative. credit card does not cover value of cancellation also limited.

Which cruise line are you sailing with? the insurance that p & o cruises sells which is with fortis would cover this for you no problem. you could always phone fortis who are based in eastleigh if you want advice or to deal direct.
