I book a holiday online and accidently book the wrong dates the flight company will not refund the money and to change the booking they want the same amount again .i was told that maybe my credit card would dispute the payment with the flight company and refund the cost back to me .is this right

The booking company should refund the money. they have it, not your credit card.
