The best card is the one which gives you the lowest interest rate. it minimises the ongoing costs.
loyalty programs are not as important.
also search for special deals such as "zero interest on balance transfers" since you are changing a credit card.
call centres, be prepared to compromise on this one, even if a bank currently has its call centre onshore, it will probably move it to india in the next few years in order to cut costs, so you can have lower bank fees.
anyway, how many times per year do you have to talk to the call centre staff?
think more about the long term costs of the card, i.e. interest rates.
and finally, try not to have
much debt on a credit card, it can be extremely
