You can go to your bank and tell them that you need to send a payment abroad.
they will take the details of the overseas account and account holder- bank name and branch - beneficiary name and account number and swift code or iban. which currency the payment is to be sent in - sterling or local currency.
they will then make the payment on your behalf and debit your account with the value of transferred funds plus a charge of somewhere between £10 & £25 depending on the circumstances of the payment.
they payment can take between 48 hrs and 5 days to reach the overseas account if all details quoted are correct.
